Project Overview

This is my experimental hybrid thesis film about a bug's cosmic existential journey that metaphorically depicts the various highs and lows of the human condition through its roads, stops, and exits.

All environments in the film are built in 3D, while the bug characters are rendered in 2D. A key focus during production was achieving an illustrative, hand-painted aesthetic in the 3D assets while preserving a sense of real-world materiality.
